Excursion 1 — Après Ski Onsen Excursion
Relaxation and Rejuvenation
After a day on the slopes, unwind at a serene onsen, soaking in natural hot springs surrounded by stunning mountain views. This excursion offers a perfect blend of post-ski relaxation and traditional Japanese bathing culture, ideal for soothing sore muscles and rejuvenating the body.
Cost – $30 / $45 (1 or 2 local onsens)
Includes entrance to 1 or 2 local onsens in Hakuba Valley and towel rental.
Does not include food or beverages.
Private onsen experience is not guaranteed and should not be expected.
Excursion 2 — Snow Peak Yukiho Dinner Excursion
Fine Dining Experience
Indulge in a luxurious, locally sourced multi-course meal at the renowned Snow Peak Yukiho, nestled in the picturesque landscape of Hakuba Valley. The experience combines fine dining with a cozy, intimate atmosphere, offering a perfect ending to a day on the slopes.
Cost – $130
Includes three Hakuba set dishes, specially seasoned rice, a main dish of fish or meat, one beverage, and one seasonal dessert or digestif.
Does not include additional beverages and dessert.
Available on day 2 of our stay in Hakuba Valley.
Excursion 3 — Nagano Olympic Museum Excursion
Legacy of the Winter Olympics
Explore the rich history of the 1998 Winter Olympics at the Nagano Olympic Museum. This excursion offers a chance to relive iconic moments, view memorabilia, and learn about the legacy of Japan’s role in the global sporting event, all while enjoying the scenic beauty of Nagano.
Cost – $35
Includes guided transportation to and from the museum, transportation fees, and museum entrance fees.
Does not include souvenirs at the museum shop or ski rink rental fees.
Available during our day in Nagano City.
Excursion 4 — Snow Monkey Park Excursion
Nature and Wildlife Experience
One hour outside of Nagano, visit the iconic Snow Monkey Park, where you can observe the playful Japanese macaques as they bathe in natural hot springs. Surrounded by a winter landscape, this unique and unforgettable experience connects visitors with nature and Japan’s wildlife.
Cost – $100
Includes booking fees, round-trip transportation fees, park entrance fees, and 2-4 hour visitation time, based on traveler preference.
Expect a 30-minute walk from the parking lot to the Snow Monkey Park.
Please note that this will take up most of our single day in Nagano, as it serves as a half-day tour.
Excursion 5 — Tokyo City View Excursion
Panoramic City Skyline View
Discover breathtaking panoramic views of Tokyo from the iconic Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills. This excursion takes you to the Tokyo City View observation deck, offering unmatched vistas of the city's skyline, including Tokyo Tower, Skytree, and even Mount Fuji on clear days.
Cost – $35
Includes admission to the Tokyo City View observation deck
Enjoy up to 45 minutes on the observation deck
Available on day 1 of the Tokyo Extension.
Excursion 6 — Tokyo Go-Karting Excursion
City Streets Racing Experience
Zoom through the streets of Tokyo in custom go-karts, taking in the city's vibrant neighborhoods while dressed in fun, themed costumes. This unique excursion offers a thrilling way to explore Tokyo from a whole new perspective, combining sightseeing with the excitement of racing through the city. An international driver’s permit is required to participate.
Cost – $115
Includes a 1-hour go-kart rental, cosplay costume rental, instructor fees, and operator-provided insurance.
Must be 18 years or older and have an international driver’s permit.
Available on day 2 of the Tokyo Extension.
Excursion 7 — Tokyo Sushi Dinner Excursion
Fine Dining Experience
Experience a memorable sushi dinner at a top-tier restaurant in the heart of Tokyo. You will enjoy elaborate and extensive omakase-style dishes, sushi rolls, and sashimi all handmade by skilled sushi chefs in a refined, intimate setting. This culinary journey showcases the art of sushi-making and the delicate balance of flavors.
Cost – $125
Includes reservation and full omakase dinner handpicked by master sushi chefs.
Alcoholic beverages are not included.
